Ahhh! What a lovely fairy tale
The Fisherman & His Wife is! I used the fairy tale to introduce lower case letters & each student created a morning lesson book - pieces of art, I tell ya! This is the blackboard.
Our sea for the class play was decorated with silks & cloths & seashells & starfish & fish the children drew on paper. So, so lovely!
Our handmade programs. Each program contains two unique drawings by a 1st grader - front & inside. They felt so special having a play with a program.
We added a lil' fish lampwork bead to bind their "The Fisherman & His Wife" books. These books will be true treasures for them. - So much nicer than icky worksheets!
