I grew up in peanut country in Oklahoma and when I was a child my grampa would take me out to the field and help me pull a plant up. Then we'd take it back to the house and pull of the peanuts, roast them, and eat them. The BEST peanuts ever!; February 19, 2011 at 8:58 AM
