36. Gasp.

My birthday was on Friday. Noah & Nathan made me coffee in the morning. I'm not a morning person. Caffeine helps! My students surprised me with a gorgeous crochet quilt. They made it! 12 third graders. 35 squares. I took a picture, but it doesn't do it justice. I must try again in daylight! They conspired with the handwork teacher. They held this secret for weeks! It is so beautiful.  Each student also brought me a flower to create a bouquet & made me a card. I received a gift certificate to a local Cuban restaurant. The food was so good! It was a nice day. But yes, I still miss him...

36. Older than some; younger than others.
