Oooh, I love the rainbow one especially. But I'm into rainbows lately. I just got a Waldorf book on Window stars and a little paper. Can't wait to try them out!
I always think where we live feels more like home once the window stars are up no mater what season it is! Besides, how would friends know which apartment is ours if there aren't any stars in the windows? These are really lovely and cheery! I especially love the pink one!
Isn't it sad to think of all the kids who sit around doing nothing, saying,"I'm bored," with so many wonderful crafts that others find to do.I know some one personally who tells her children that crafts are useless, and they don't need to be doing them, yet I know for a fact, those children are some of the very ones who sit around complaining about being bored.Go figure!
There's a lot of math in those stars. It's fairly simple to make an 8-pointed star, but if you want to make others, it involves measuring angles - at least that's how we do it. So you have to divide & then be exact etc. I actually find it a very useful activity. And they are just so pretty. :-)

They remind me of hard candy melted inside sugar cookies :-)
