I wanted to thank all of you who voted in the RichmondMom Baby Shower contest. I did not win, but thought you might like to know who did, so that link is here. (You can scroll down to read the nomination blurb.)
In the end I think it was better not to win. I've been having some tough heart-moments as the birth of this baby is approaching. I still don't function very well in social settings of this magnitude.
I'm counting my blessings. The house is so amazing. I still can't believe it all came to be. I'll be getting my things out of storage today & I'm looking forward to unpacking and "nesting."
I'm also on the last pattern repeat of the Babynaming Giveaway Lace Shawl! Yeap, I'll be giving away an organic lace shawl here... probably next week.
Brightest blessings to all my dear blogga-logga friends. :-)
Namaste!

Good morning,Cadi!I know the excitement of the new home and a soon-to-be new baby must be overwhelming.Stay cool and take lots of breaks, and a nice cold glass of decaffinated iced tea might help,occasionally. Our thoughts are with you and your little family.
WELL BUMMER CITY :0{
I can tell from the "Babystrology" picture that Baby N is growing like a weed . . . and seems to be doing sommersaults like crazy . . . perhaps a little gymnast in there?
I am SO EXCITED that you are getting "unstored" and will be in your "forever home" at last.
remember . . post more pictures again . . I want to be jealous all over again :0}

I will post pictures again soon. My laptop is down, so I can't upload from my camera. It's next on my neverending summer-agenda. ;-)
so, so happy the house worked out. you never did update me with the question you had so i'm very happy to hear you were able to work things out.
as the birth approaches, i know it's overwhelming and exciting and emotional. embrace it all. you're getting a huge piece of him ...and somewhere deep inside of him, while he was still alive, he knew he was leaving a piece behind ...even if he didn't consciously "know." love, love, love dear woman.

Still...a massage would have been nice I'm sure!!
Good luck with everything as you prepare to welcome your new baby! I would imagine that having a new baby in light of your love passing away, would be difficult...while there is the intense JOY of a new baby, there is also the sadness of not having your partner there...I just can't imagine...
I hope you are surrounded by loving souls who will take good care of you in this time!
Good luck with settling into your new home...unpacking is an adventure onto itself!
love and hugs
maureen :)
