Postcrossing

Have you heard about Postcrossing? I read about it in a blog post over at Salt & Chocolate.

We signed up. Sent our cards. Germany. The Netherlands. Norway. France. China. The cards arrived. Now cards have started popping up in our mailbox. A card from Alaska sent from Idaho. Niagara Falls, Canada. Amsterdam, The Netherlands. And we're sending more cards.

You never know where the next card may come from.

Getting snail mail is suddenly fun.
We look at the postcards and ignore the bills. (Just kidding!)

More, with images, soon.

I just had a wee look at the postcross site. How cool! I could imagine it would be really neat for kids slightly older than mine, but I enjoy snail mail too, so maybe I'll sign up just to brighten up my stack of bills every now and then.

Hello Cadi,
That sounds like so much fun to be a part of. I love snail mail.
I see you are expecting. Congratulations! Oh and baby N's due date (Aug 24th) is my birthday. Great Month to be born in ;)
I am terribly sorry about your husband, my heart aches for you, and I will keep you in my prayers.
By the way, Thanks for visiting my blog and sending good juju ;) My Husband's surgery and recovery went very well. Praise the Lord!
Your blog is lovely & I look forward to poking around a bit and checking out your Etsy shop too.
Many Blessings,
Molly

Molly,

Thank you.

He wasn't my husband. For some reason I always feel the need to clarify this. :-)

Glad things went well on your end.

Happy Sunday!

Hey Cadi! Welcome KMB. All the best for your entry for the chocolates.
Our kids have just started writing letters to family around NZ and they are loving it! (I must admit I love it too!)
The post at Salt and Chocolate was adorable...totally makes me want to give postcrossing a go!
