Monday

Some Mondays are manic, some are mellow. Others are mushy & melancholic. This one is marked by lots of mucking around and mulling things over.

I had a marvelous experience with Matrix Energetics yesterday around midday. Has anyone heard of it? I'd been feeling miserable for a few days and it really made me feel a lot better. Very meaningful indeed.

I also realized that it's okay to state my needs and to distance myself from those who want to leave their meaningless muck at my doorstep. I don't have to own their problems. It may sound like a simple realization, but for someone who always wants to fix things & be helpful that was a big step.

Last night I had this dream. The classroom I was substitute-teaching in had a train track & a highway meander through it. How mental is that?

I'm listening to memorable music.

I managed to mail some mailings at the mailing facility. (Being a teacher, I'd mark that sentence with a magenta marker for repetitive word use.)

Then I treated myself to a milky mocha.

When I came home, I couldn't help but notice how magnificent that sage has become.

The mother-me is still missing my mischievous boys.

Back to knitting with that multicolored Malabrigo now.

How's your Monday going?

It's always good to declutter your acquaintances every now and again. That probably sounds terrible but if they are bringing negative energy into your life, then you probably don't need them. That Matrix Energetics sounds similar to something my reiki practitioner spoke about but it wasn't called that. Natural therapies do work though - IMO.
It's now Tuesday here which means I get 2 hours of peace to get things done - Elijah has kindy yay!
I never really thought about sage - I have mint, coriander and basil in the kitchen - I have so much trouble growing coriander though :(

I love growing herbs. It just tends to be very humid here, so drying w/o getting something moldy can be a challenge. I ended up drying some basil in the oven last year.

Coriander is called cilantro here. I love the taste of it, esp. in a salsa or black bean soup. I haven't attempted to grow it yet, though.

I'm hoping to take hold of the garden in the spring. I have a vision, we'll see how it can be put into practice. :-)
