I haven't been totally lazy, but I'm going to torture you with another post of "just" pictures of my precious children. I did manage to type up the birth story tonight & I will give you the direct link to where it can be found as soon as it's published at Birth Stories.
Here's Nathan trying to look strange in an effort to conceal how much he loves his lil' sister. Pssst. Don't tell him I said that! Caught a nice Nuri-smile there. She's a smiley girl!
Nuri loves this spot by the window, especially in the mornings with the sun shining in. In the background you can see a bit of the gorgeous quilt Viv over at Highway Cottage made for Nuriel. Thank you so, so much, Viv! It's such a Kiwi treasure! My daughter is a projectile pooper, though. - I'm gonna blame this on her Papa, because I can! - I promise a better picture of the quilt very soon. It had to be washed. Turns out my daughter prefers to projectile poop on clean linen and heirloom quilts... or my hand if neither of these are available!
Things should be back to normal soon - right?! Maybe not. Oh, but I'm really trying! Pinky promise.

awww Elijah said "aww look at that cute baby" He's a huge fan of babies as of late.
I love that smile - she's been here before I bet.
I'm glad I never had to deal with projectile poop - most of that was over and done with before we left the hospital.
emerson pooped like that too! great photos she looks like a very calm soul, theres something knowing about that smile, maybe "thats my mama taking the photo"!!
Congratulations!, she is so very beautiful, I can't believe she's a girl, how so very precious.
Hoping you are getting plenty of support, sending a big cuddle to your little one, oh how I'd love to hold her, sigh.
Oh, that smile just makes *me* smile. And I have a young teen who has for years now insisted on wearing some funny expression on her face in all photos. So *that* made me smile too.
Heard of projectile vomit but never poop . . .she must have a great sphincter muscle :0}
what a wonderful photo and a georgeous smile, what a little heartbreaker she will be. She is obvously starting with her brothers heart.
oh i love that first pic!! i suspect it will take some time before things are back to *normal*, sweet mama. ;) actually, you are creating the NEW normal for your tribe!
